The Waikato Regional Transportation Model (WRTM) is the result of a $2.4 million dollar investment in data collection and model development between 2007 and 2010. The WRTM is now the single recognised transport model in the Waikato Region, and is invaluable as a strategic planning tool for forecasting changes in travel demands.
